Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China offers scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in Cao Bang

The
delegation of the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China led by Mr. Peng
Shituan, Cultural Counselor, awarded scholarships to students in difficult
circumstances at the Provincial Boarding School. Representatives of leaders of
the Department of Education and Training and Foreign Affairs attended the event.

Cao Bang Provincial Boarding School.

scholarships each of which is worth nearly 3.5 million VND were awarded to
students with excellent academic achievements.
This is
the third consecutive year that the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam has offered
scholarships to students in Cao Bang. Previously, the Embassy had awarded 30
scholarships to students; supported construction costs at primary schools and
secondary schools in Son Lap commune in Bao Lac district, De Tham Secondary
school in Cao Bang city; and sponsored the purchase of educational equipment which
is worth over 360 million VND for Ha Lang District Boarding School.
The
scholarships would be the encouragement and motivation for students in difficult
circumstances to strive for better achievements in their studying.
