The Provincial Peoples Committee on April 2nd organized a business exchange between Cao Bang (Vietnam) and Baise city, Guangxi (China). Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples Committee Nguyen Trung Thao; Heads of the Management Board of the provincial Economic Zone, the Provincial Business Association; Representatives of twelve businesses in the province attended the event.

Baise city’s delegation attending the meeting included Mr. Li Yucheng, Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Baise city; Heads of Department of Industry and Digitization of Baise city, Foreign Affairs Office of Baise city; and representatives of twelve businesses.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Trung Thao emphasized that in order to maximize the effectiveness of the business exchange, businesses of the two sides should jointly learn, survey, research, and implement investment cooperation activities in logistics, processing and manufacturing, high technology; promote cooperation in agriculture, education, health, tourism, trade and services, and border economic development. Cao Bang province, with its potential and attractive investment attraction policies, wishes that, through the program, investors and businesses will come to learn and cooperate in investment in the province.

Being informed about the potential, strengths and economic development orientation of Cao Bang province, Deputy Mayor of People's Government of Baise city Li Yucheng expressed his desire to cooperate with the province in agriculture, industry and tourism development. He hoped that, through the exchange, the two localities would have many opportunities to cooperate in areas of mutual interest.
The business exchange is one of the important activities of investment promotion, contributing to trade promotion and creating opportunities for businesses operating in the province to find partners who are Chinese businesses. The exchange is also an opportunity for businesses of the two sides to discuss and remove difficulties and obstacles to come up with solutions for cooperation agreements, creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop. On that basis, businesses of the two sides would share and seek to expand investment and trade in the upcoming time. It is hoped that through the exchange, businesses of the two sides will find partners to cooperate in investment and business to promote the socio-economic development of the two localities.

On this occasion, representatives of Vietnam - China enterprises signed a strategic cooperation agreement on business, cooperation agreement on promoting customs clearance at Tra Linh (Vietnam) - Longpang (China) border gate, cooperation agreement traditional medicines processing. They also discussed the potential for mutual investment opportunities between the two sides.
